ADDAX
The Addax, sometimes called the ‘screw horn antelope’, because of its twisted horns, is a large, desert dwelling member of the antelope family, closely related to the Oryx.

AOUDAD SHEEP
Aoudad sheep live in very rugged terrain. The hunter must be comfortable shooting in excess of 200 yards. Aoudad hunting is conducted by traditional spot and stalk method of hunting. This hunt is a rifle only hunt. The Aoudad will range from 28-35” in length.

AXIS DEER
Texas Exotic Hunting has the best Axis Deer Hunting in the world. Axis hunting takes place on our immense hunting property. You will see numerous Axis Bucks per day. Many of these axis deer will be over the 30″ mark.
Axis Deer hunting is conducted by traditional spot and stalk method of hunting: Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, Safari Style Hunting and Handgun.

BLACKBUCK ANTELOPE
Blackbuck Antelope hunts are very challenging. The hunter must be comfortable shooting in excess of 200 yards. Blackbuck hunting is conducted by traditional spot and stalk method of hunting. This hunt is rifle only. The Blackbuck Antelope will range from 18-23 inches straight line measurement in length.

NILGAI
These animals are officially named the “nilgai” antelope and originate in India and Nepal. “Nilgai” means “blue bull” in certain East Indian dialects. They were originally introduced to the King Ranch in the 1930’s by a family member who decided that South Texas was a tough environment for cattle that had evolved in a cooler climate. His search for an animal that could thrive in the South Texas climate and produce a high quality, lean meat led him to the nilgai antelope.

SCIMITAR HORNED ORYX
Texas Exotic Hunting allows the opportunity to hunt and harvest Scimitar Horned Oryx. This animal is big and can take the brunt of a high caliber rifle. Super fun to hunt great eyesight and smell. We offer these hunts year-round for Trophy Texas Scimitar Horned Oryx Hunts. Scimitar Horned Oryx hunting is conducted by traditional spot and stalk method of hunting. Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, Safari Style Hunting and Handgun. The Scimitar Horned Oryx will range from 34 – 40 inches in length.

JACOB’S FOUR HORN RAM
Jacob Four Horn Ram is our most unique animal on the ranch. These animals actually have four horns with two jutting out from the top of their head and two that curl around their face.
The wooly sheep makes for an interesting mount, but its fiery personality and unique appearance has also made the Jacob’s Four-Horn Ram Hunt challenging.

THE GEMSBOK
The Gemsbok is a large antelope of striking appearance with long, spear like horns. It has a thick, horse like neck with a short mane and a compact, muscular body.

Texas leads the nation in sheep population topping 740,000. Our ranch is home to not only the majestic Trans Caspian Urial but also Black Hawaiian Sheep, Corsican Sheep, Texas Dall Sheep and Red Sheep. Hunters of Trophy Sheep can choose the Spot and Stalk method, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, Safari Style Hunting, Handgun, as well as hunting from a Blind. We can accommodate hunters of any age and experience level.
